Help End Food Insecurity in Syria Now!

The People in Syria Need You

Millions of people in Syria are suffering.

  • 13.5 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance
  • 7 million people who are food insecure
  • 2 million others at risk of food insecurity.

These problems are at an all-time high due to prolonged conflict, growing population of internal refugees, and erratic weather.

Improving the productivity and resilience of small scale farmers, and their access to more efficient agricultural markets is essential to addressing poverty in Syria.

  • Help support workshops where farmers can learn the most modern and effective methods of agriculture, learn more crops and seasons, and how to get the best results.
  • Provide local agricultural advisory services and equipment to farmers.
  • Provide farmers with fertilizers (various types), and seeds to grow vegetables like corn, cucumber, squash, tomatoes, eggplants, beans, and peppers.
  • Provide irrigation accessories, such as hoses.

Help us achieve food security in Aleppo-Azaz by supporting small farmers with basic agricultural inputs so that they can grow, literally and figuratively.

Food security is achieved when adequate, safe and nutritious food is accessible to all and utilized by all individuals at all times to support a healthy and productive life.

Syria is an agricultural country - but due to the ongoing conflict in the country, there has been a severe decline in agricultural crops and many families are suffering because of it.
